Why are Christians the most hypocritical religious folk?

For instance, I'm going to bring up Proposition 8 in California. What other than religion influenced people to vote yes? If you truly followed your holy bible, I bet you would be a fascist. I'm sorry to say, but Christianity will be replaced one day be replaced (hopefully with humanism, reason, and science), but you can still believe in the your lies and misinformation.
